Started tossing the unnecessary stuff.

Cleaned and sandblasted the both rims and mounting hardware. It took about 8 hours.

Steering head bearings…or most of them. I’ve removed the inner races and will be installing tapered roller bearings. I’ll put a GS850 front end on.

there is a pair of works performance shocks for sale in “parts & accessories”. $60. they may suite your bike…

Those are eye to eye, the GS uses eye to clevis. I have a pair of shocks en route. Thanks though.
