I know I’ve talked about it elsewhere, but I wanted to officially place this here. Deb has given her season’s notice that this is her last year as Registrar. First, she has done and continues to do an amazing job for this club, and has put together a great team of volunteers which I’m very proud to be a part of, so while yes, it’s a job that requires responsibility, there’s a lot of support! Second, for anyone that knows the position, Series Tracker has literally eliminated 99% of the workload away from the track.

We’re all aware of the time commitment required for the position at the track, but we have three full events left to train, and we find ways at each round to reduce the workload. I honestly feel this will be a three hour per day commitment by the end of this season. (2 in the evening, 1 in the morning)

Bump!

This is a vital position within the club, and now that we are past the halfway point, it’s getting a bit more urgent that whomever steps into this lead role start shadowing Deb at our next round. There’s a lot of small but vital details that she has to pass on. Please don’t wait till the last minute to raise your hand, that will make a much more stressful 2017… :open_mouth:
