How to embed YouTube video in post

OK, I have added a modification to our forum to allow embedding YouTube video directly in a post (see my Mosport practice post below). To embed video cut and paste the video URL from YouTube like below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OCNx8iuMrY

Then remove all the code left of the “v=” like so:

6OCNx8iuMrY

Then higlight the code and click the “youtube” button on the top right of your input screen and then it should look like this:

[youtube]6OCNx8iuMrY[/youtube]

Press submit and that’s it…enjoy!

Thanks! Now how do I resize a picture to fit in my avatar?

To resize your avatar you just need to make sure that it is no larger than the avatar limits:

The images need to be pretty small, just use some graphics program that allows you to resize and images. Once you have it just upload it in your user control panel and you should be good. It will tell you right away if you have exceeded the limits. Make sure the image is in a JPG format as well.
