On Friday I went to Shannonville to take the sidecar school. Did some laps on the skid pad which qualified me for my licence, then on Saturday got to go out on the track for 4 practice laps on an F2 rig piloted by Craig Barr. Man what a rush! I’ve still got a shit eating grin on my face.

I thought it was pretty decent of Al to give up his first practice round so that I could get some actual track time in the chair. All the S.R.A. people imet made me feel welcome from the minute I met them. A great bunch of people.

I also attended the school, however was unable to stay for the saturday practice. Very fun! totally different sport.
