The 2 dates we are looking at for Quebec are sept 7-8 and sept 14-15
We had 7-8 on hold (same weekend as last year), but asked if 14-15 is available, no answer yet. We think a bigger gap between Mosport and QC might be better, i think any later then that is getting late in the season and the 21-22nd conflicts with SOAR anyway.
So are there any conflicts with those 2 dates?
those 2 dates don’t conflict with AHRMA, SOAR or USCRA… I don’t think RACE schedule is out yet…
Francois is on vacation for 2 weeks, so Pat and he won’t make the decision until he get’s back, if there is any conflicts, now is the time to speak up… but like i said, Francois doesn’t even know if the 14-15 is available from St-Eustache.
Historically, RACE has used the Labor Day weekend and the last weekend of September. Either weekend you suggest should be okay, from that point of view. I doubt if they will try to pick a fight with SOAR. (Actually, I have my doubts whether there will be a RACE schedule, but that’s quite another matter.)
Not 100% yet, 14-15th is not available so it won’t be that date, so it will be most likely the original date of 7-8. They sugested 21-22st and the execs are considering it , but there is a conflict with SOAR and its getting late in the season for some…
Yes, but I’m sure the delay between race weekends is more reasonable with the 21st and 22nd. Weather is still usually great around that time…Anyway, whatever they choose, I’ll be there…
Thats awesome I can now officially do the whole series. Maybe we can work out a bulk entry/license purchase price. I plan on bringing a fleet of bikes and a bunch of SOAR riders / VRRA virgins to each round.
Hey!
I retired in 08 and havent raced in Canada since 04 so this should be good. Started one race a couple seasons ago and proceeded to run out of gas. Sigh… somethings never change. I am just tickled to actually have a fun weekend where we am not running things. The whole SOAR staff are stoked and maybe the VRRA can benefit. Should be some good racing some of our guys can get around a track pretty effectively.
It would be nice if we could help your folks on the transponders…since very few (if any) of your guys have them. Of course for that to happen in 2013 we should have started talking about it 4 years ago Ahhh…it’s fun that you can appreciate what your dealing with Ken…
