1975 Honda CB550 Vintage Racer for Sale
I have owned this amazing bike for 16 years. It has been passionately cared for and together we have had some amazing successes.
After the first few years we completely re-did the motor (Harry Peters and myself) and when it was dyno’d at Pro 6 Cycle we achieved a very respectable 70HP at the rear wheel. (I have the Dyno sheet) The whole build including the CR carbs, motor parts, and custom exhaust from California came to roughly $4000. Every component of the motor was addressed to ensure that reliability would not be an issue and it never has been. She has always been stored it a heated garage.

· Knife-edged crank, de-seamed, polished and balanced con rods and porting by Harry Peters.
· JE 11.5 to 1 high comp pistons
· Oversized Kibblewhite intake/exhaust valves/guides

· CB350 rear hub (smaller and lighter that stock 550 hub)
· Custom top aluminum top triple clamp and reinforced lower clamp
· Fork brace and steering damper
· Quick change battery setup (total loss system) and Shorai batteries
· Aluminum rims
· 520 chain conversion with Rebel Gears
· Digital tach and oil pressure gauge
This bike runs in Period 2 Middleweight Production so you have no end of bump-ups available. I am the third member of the VRRA to own this bike so if it stayed in the club that would be amazing.
