Rule book update

The rule book has been updated with the rule changes and other changes to part A. We are currently discussing procedures for head injuries. This is taking longer than planned. We intend to include the procedure in this revision and have delayed publishing the rules until it is complete.

The 2019 rules are now available on the home page or by this link

Micheal, there is no clarification on the Honda Interceptor VF750 as apposed to the VFR750F. I believe that the VF750 is now a period 3 class bike, where as the VFR750 remains in P4 ? Is that correct ?

Only VF750s made in 1982 are eligible for P3.

This is what happens when you mess with the eco-system. The rules would appear to support the eligibility of VF750F models from 1982-1985 inclusive.

I was under the assumption that the Interceptor VF750F did not start production until 1983 ??

Most were unaware that the VF750 was available in 1982 in some markets outside North America when the membership voted out the restriction on water cooled four strokes that had been in place since P3 was created.

No one has asked the Tech Committee to include later VF750s, which would require proof that there was no change between the 1982 model and the 83-85 version.

Any idea where I might find that info ?

Take a look at this post. This was a LONG discussion… viewtopic.php?f=3&t=26820
