2012 Race Dates

Good news, at least one event on the Pro or Long track would be nice. thanks to the exec for this., Paul.

Great news-thanks Pat. Glad that’s settled.

we have booked and confirmed our July date and venue: Shannonville Long or Pro track on July 14th & 15th

Great news! i hope its the long track also

you have just handed the marketing comittee a real sweet sponsorship opportunity to leverage 2 consecutive races at the same venue, lots of upside. go shanny crew!

Awesome Pat! Thanks!

As preference goes, I’m actually a bigger fan of the Pro track. But as Dom notes the marshaling situation will have a lot to do with track selection, and when it comes right down to it any track configuration is a win

Scott

Well if the 1st round is Nelson, then the Pro Track is my vote as well for the 2nd round. But whatever works for the club is fine by me.

Long track = more tasty lines to carve !

This is great news Pat. Thanks to all who had a hand in booking this event. The Long track was great this past June. Pro track would probably require less corner workers, and might be worth a try just for something different.

Yay!

Tim

Long track for both events…

Nope…Nelson in June.

That should be interesting in P4 with a bump :open_mouth:

Hope you guys are ready for my RS in P4F1 on the Nelson!!!

Stephen Campbell

I think Rosie the 7 Iron would prefer to stretch her legs on the Pro track, but the long track is a lot of fun.
Thanks Pat, this is awesome whatever track we run.

Colin

Thanks Pat for the early race dates announcement for 2012. Much easier to plan our season!
Take care and have a great holiday season.
Jean-Guy and Christine

Can anyone please tell me what the traditional schedule is like from a track sessions / time perspective during these 3 days? I’m contemplating doing a one of the track days immediately before. thnx much

I have never done one of the preceding track days, but when Sunday rolls around have always thought “shoulda been here Thursday”. An extra day at a place like Mosport is never a bad idea. Do the endurance race too. When it comes to track time “if a little bit is good then too much is just right” .:sunglasses:
